Het Centraal Museum Utrecht is het oudste stadsmuseum van Nederland. Het museum vertelt inspirerende verhalen die vaak verbintenis hebben met de stad. Vanuit dit vertrekpunt zijn we altijd op zoek naar verrassende verhalen en nieuwe perspectieven. Zo is ook de samenwerking met organisatie Fluid Future<\/em> tot stand gekomen die met zicht op kennisuitwisseling en duurzaamheid de watersector en de creatieve industrie samenbrengen. In de museumtuin ervaar je het zintuigprikkelende waterpaviljoen, gemaakt door Jonas Wijtenburg en Fluid Future<\/em>. Het paviljoen is de plek voor het educatieve project Waterdragers<\/em> en maakt tevens deel uit van de tentoonstelling De gezonde stad<\/em>. Het project Fluid Future<\/em> en De gezonde stad<\/em> zijn beide nog tot en met 11 september te zien.

Naast De gezonde stad<\/em> is ook de Silhouetten<\/em>, de solotentoonstelling van modeontwerper Yasmina Ajbilou<\/em>, te bezoeken. Hier zijn drie eigentijdse, kleurrijke kaftans te zien die reflecteren op tradities en technieken die Ajbilou kent vanuit haar Marokkaanse achtergrond. 8 oktober opent de tentoonstelling Double Act<\/em>, waar monumentale video-installaties uit de Kramlich collectie op grootschalige wijze getoond worden naast iconische 17e<\/sup>-eeuwse topstukken uit onze eigen collectie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centraal Museum Utrecht is the oldest city museum in the Netherlands. The museum tells inspiring stories that often have connections to the city. From this vantage, we are always looking for surprising stories and new perspectives. This is also how the collaboration with the organisation Fluid Future came about, which brings together the water sector and the creative industry with a view towards knowledge exchange and sustainability. You can experience the sensory water pavilion created by Jonas Wijtenburg and Fluid Future in the museum garden. The pavilion is the venue for the educational project Waterdragers and is also part of the De gezonde stad exhibition. The Fluid Future project and De gezonde stad are both still on view through 11 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to De gezonde stad, Silhouettes, the solo exhibition by fashion designer Yasmina Ajbilou, can also be visited. On show here are three contemporary, colourful kaftans that reflect on traditions and techniques Ajbilou has learned from her Moroccan background. The exhibition Double Act will open on 8 October, where monumental video installations from the Kramlich collection will be displayed on a large scale alongside iconic 17th-century masterpieces from our own collection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
