Het Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd met Koetshuis en park behoort tot de meest bijzondere Rijksmonumenten in Nederland. Vooral door het aanwezige Chinese papierbehang uit de 18e eeuw. Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd geeft ruimte aan individuele makers en organisaties om wisselende exposities en programma\u2019s te verzorgen voor een divers publiek. Het biedt ruimte aan hedendaagse kunst, toont de rijke geschiedenis en geeft makers de gelegenheid om te cre\u00ebren en zich te laten inspireren.

Van 2022 tot en met 2026 strijkt het Centraal Museum neer in Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd. Deze prachtige, historische buitenplaats vormt vijf jaar lang, elke lente en zomer, het decor voor een solotentoonstelling van een gerenommeerde Nederlandse hedendaagse kunstenaar. Op de eerste verdieping brengt het Centraal Museum presentaties waarbij de kracht van kunst leidend is. De tentoonstellingen zijn artist-driven, wat betekent dat elke kunstenaar een open podium krijgt om diens werk en wensen te presenteren in dialoog met de historische kamers. Zo wordt deze historische buitenplaats een actuele en experimentele vrijplaats.

CareFull<\/strong>

Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd is sinds kort weer geopend voor publiek! Stichting Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd organiseert wisselende tentoonstellingen en programma\u2019s met makers en instellingen uit Utrecht. Tijdens CareFull zie je werk van Utrechtse makers die een verbinding aangaan met het landhuis en haar omgeving.

The Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd with its Coach House and park is among the most extraordinary national monuments in the Netherlands. Especially because of its Chinese wallpaper from the 18th century. Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd provides space to individual creators and organisations to host changing exhibitions and programmes for a diverse audience. It provides space for contemporary art, showcases its rich history and gives creators the opportunity to co-create and be inspired.

From 2022 to 2026, the Centraal Museum will be located in Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd. Over a five-year period, this beautiful, historic country manor house will be the setting every spring and summer for a solo exhibition by a renowned Dutch contemporary artist. The Centraal Museum offers presentations on the first floor that focus on the power of art. The exhibitions are artist-driven, meaning that each artist is given an open stage to present their work and desires in dialogue with the historic rooms. In this way, this historic country estate becomes an contemporary and experimental sanctuary.

Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd has recently reopened to the public! The Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd Foundation organises changing exhibitions and programmes with creators and institutions from Utrecht. During CareFull, you will experience work by Utrecht-based creators that connect with the manor and its surroundings.
