Fluid Future<\/em> is een cross-over<\/em> programma waarbinnen kunstenaars, ontwerpers en architecten werken met organisaties uit de watersector om nieuwe denkrichtingen en  bewustwording over water mogelijk te maken.

Water is overal en is een essentieel onderdeel van ons leven. Het speelt een belangrijke rol in onze gezondheid, natuur en economie. Water verandert voortdurend van vorm en tegelijkertijd blijft de hoeveelheid water op aarde gelijk. Een regendruppel die maanden geleden viel, kan vandaag als drinkwater uit de kraan komen. Water verbindt ons met het verleden maar, misschien nog belangrijker, ook met onze toekomst.

Fluid Future <\/em>nodigde kunstenaar Jonas Wijtenburg (1989) uit om een Waterpaviljoen<\/em> te ontwerpen en bouwen: een zelfstandig en interactief beeldend werk waar je als publiek in aanraking komt met verschillende vormen van water in de stad en zelf met onderzoekstools aan de slag kunt.

Ontwerper Sannah Belzer (1979) zorgde voor de inrichting van het Waterpaviljoen<\/em> en ontwikkelde het educatieproject Waterdragers<\/em> met workshops over <\/em>de vraag \u2018Wat is water?\u2019. Waterdragers<\/em> wordt uitgevoerd in samenwerking met organisatie Utrecht Natuurlijk<\/em>, waarbij kinderen uit verschillende wijken worden uitgenodigd om naar dit vraagstuk te kijken. Fluid Future<\/em> realiseerde vier permanente projecten in de publieke ruimte, waaronder deze twee, en is in 2022 ook co-curator van het publieksprogramma van de Water Bi\u00ebnnale<\/em>.

Fluid Future is a crossover program in which artists, designers and architects work with organizations in the water sector to enable new ways of thinking and awareness about water.
Water is everywhere and is an essential part of our lives. It plays an important role in our health, nature and economy. Water is constantly changing shape and yet the amount of water on Earth remains the same. A raindrop that fell months ago can come out of the tap today as drinking water. Water connects us to the past but, perhaps more importantly, to our future as well.

Fluid Future invited artist Jonas Wijtenburg (1989) to design and build a Water Pavilion: an independent and interactive visual work where you, the audience, can get in touch with different forms of water in the city and try out various research tools yourself.

Designer Sannah Belzer (b. 1979) designed the Water Pavilion and developed the education project Waterdragers with workshops on the question \u2018What is water?\u2019. Waterdragers is conducted in cooperation with the organisation Utrecht Natuurlijk, where children from different neighbourhoods are invited to look at this issue.

Fluid Future realised four permanent projects in public spaces, including these two, and is also co-curator of the Water Biennial’s public program in 2022.
