In de dansvoorstelling Het Zwevend Diner<\/em> nemen Malou ter Horst (1983) en Lotte Willemsma (1989) het publiek mee in een feestelijk driegangendiner zonder tafels. Zwevende borden en dansers spelen de hoofdrol. De gangen van het diner zijn voor een deel eetbaar, en bestaan deels in de vorm van dans. De dansers serveren de gangen op theatrale wijze.

De voorstelling is ontstaan vanuit de liefde voor locatie- en ervaringstheater, een liefde die vormgever Malou ter Horst en choreograaf Lotte Willemsma delen: \u201cWant wanneer we aanwezig zijn in ons lichaam, zijn we in het moment aanwezig en kunnen we beginnen met het verbinden met anderen.\u201d

Het Zwevend Diner vindt<\/em> plaats op 17 en 18 september in de tuin van het Hof van Cartesius, een bijzondere en circulaire broedplaats in Utrecht die zelf ook een bezoek waard is.

In the dance performance Het Zwevend Diner, Malou ter Horst (1983) and Lotte Willemsma (1989) take the audience on a festive three-course dinner without tables. Floating signs and dancers play the leading roles. The dinner courses are partly edible, and partly exist in the medium of dance. The dancers serve the courses theatrically.

The performance was born out of a love of location and experiential theatre, a love shared by designer Malou ter Horst and choreographer Lotte Willemsma: \u201cFor when we are present in our bodies, we are present in the moment and can begin to connect with others.\u201d

Het Zwevend Diner takes place on 17 and 18 September in the garden of the Hof van Cartesius, a special circular incubator in Utrecht worth a visit in its own right.
